just for fun, when writing the piece “lit/unlit” light was the word that rushed forth…
a word
rushes forth
at every chance
“am i needed?”
“am i sought?”
it repeats itself
like a child recites
“can i or can i not?”
shamelessly
pandering
clumsily
meandering
teasing forgetfulness
like it wants to be caught
but ever ready
with a toothy grin
“am i needed?
how ’bout now?
am i thought?”
I love it.
=) Thank you, that means a lot coming from you =)
PS; but our thought DO have their consequences, the effect of our thoughts sticks to us, as the Buddha said:
We are what we think.
All that we are arises with our thoughts.
With our thoughts we make the world.
Speak or act with an impure mind
And sorrow will follow you
As the wheel follows the ox that draws the cart.
Speak or act with a pure mind
And happiness will follow you as your shadow, unshakeable.
……………………….
Now it’s my turn to say “Beautiful”, thank you for sharing the wisdom. =) Peace. -Que
beautifull!
to answer your question: you ARE not thought, you MAKE thoughts…with your mind. So, thoughts come and go and also they die, you mind does not die. If you want to experience this, you will find a mini course on blog with some mental exercises to experience this.

Thank you for stopping by and kindly leaving your thoughts,
logically yes, but poetry doesn’t have to exist in logic…that’s what makes it intriguing
I will surely look into your mini course =)
