Remind me

Sometimes i fear i simply should not be like me…

There’s something i do in being me

That just seems to mean

This person is kind, caring, loving, funny, intelligent, pretty but still not worthy.

Somehow not ever worthy enough.

So I’ve decided to be me.

And realize I’m worthy enough for me and those who care to see it.

Remind me though, when the world makes me forget.

Your abstract style is so effective, I always end up thinking maybe too much into your poems. Feel good, Q!

Awwww Jay, thank you for your comment. I’m glad it makes you think… I’m great, a writer may write about their own experiences best but they can write about them in different times and with different perspectives.

  3. Gottfried says:

Maybe stop worrying about being enough and the quality of your life will improve drastically.

Eventually you reach a point where you no longer need a remind, dear. This is an insightful awakening. πŸ’™πŸ™πŸΌ

This is beautifully written & deep….simply be yourself, my friend….no matter what people will judge….it’s their problem….the most important thing is to be true & real to yourself….thank you for your sharing & a reminder as well ✨
